Other Useful Information
Visiting Atlantic City
There are two main ways to get to Atlantic City by car from 4410 Asbury Avenue. You can return to the Garden State Parkway, head north and take the Atlantic City Expressway exit (going east), which will take you to the boardwalk and casinos. You can expect traffic at peak travel times on this route. You can also take a more scenic route through the various ocean towns between Ocean City and Atlantic City. For directions, please see this map. A public bus is also available from West Ave. and 34th Street in Ocean City (see map).
Getting to the Ocean City Boardwalk
You can travel by car or trolley to the Ocean City Boardwalk. Street parking is typically available a few blocks from the boardwalk or, if you are willing to pay, parking lots provide ample space. Please note that street parking requires that you pay quarters to park. A little known secret is a municipal parking lot at 9th Street and the Boardwalk, which also requires quarters but is closer than any other parking lot available. If you prefer to travel by trolley, you can catch the trolley during the summer months one block over on Central Avenue for a price of $2 per ride (see schedule.)
